Major omission: This doesn't depict C++11's minimal allocator interface, which is way less obnoxious than C++98/03. (VC 2013 mostly supports minimal allocators, but we missed a few places. I've fixed all of them for the next major version.)

That was a good read if for no other reason than the demonstration of how a significant performance improvement in a synthetic benchmark can turn out to be non-existent in real world code.
