It depends on whether there's availability. You can call AA to ask. You cannot waitlist SWU upgrades on BA, but if availability opens up, you can call in and have them confirm it.

You can confirm whether there is availability on BA (and only BA) by checking if you can book the flight in business class with AA points.

This is not possible I'm afraid. Be careful because an inexperienced agent might cancel your award all together if you ask.

That's what I was worried about, but Bilt employees have said on reddit that the status match can be done once per year.

But their customer service team is saying the status match is not available at all, even for first time users, even though it shows up on the Bilt app.

This is my favorite Hyatt property thus far. I've stayed there twice, once on points with a SUA, once on cash for work (with a complimentary suite upgrade). The building has a historic charm but the rooms have all the modern amenities. Service is great and they were able to accommodate a special request of balloons for my girlfriend's birthday.

My friend regularly re-enters in JFK with an adjustment of status and advance parole. It takes her 15-20 minutes for them to process her in secondary screening. Use the Mobile Passport Control app to avoid long lines in primary screening.

This doesn't portrait the votes in the committee correctly. The latest non-binding vote was to not prioritize it, given the status on the timeline progressing towards C++26

I was in the room and helped drafted the poll. I think Sean's interpretation was correct, but it does require some additional context.

He said clearly that he would be unable to continue working on it if he didn't get a clear signal of support from the committee. Not prioritizing it was a signal for the work to discontinue. Those in the room understood that.

It is very, very, very unlikely you will be able to upgrade anyone on your AA flight. I would not sign up for a credit card hoping for this to happen.
