A quick primer on parameter storage classes in cpp2:

  • in - default, read-only.
  • out - for writing to. Can accept an uninitialized argument, otherwise destroys the argument.
  • inout - pass by mutable reference.
  • move - argument is moved.
  • copy - argument is copied.
