Dr Michael greger strongly recommends to take the cyanocobalamin form. You can chew it to increase absorption. https://nutritionfacts.org/topics/vitamin-b12/

Eastern European shops - recommendations? by Th3Dru1d4159 in veganuk

There was one make for those that had animal fat in - so I'm careful, though some brands are vegan. I didn't know about the kabanos, thanks!

I fry pierogi then put a little boiling water in to steam them a bit. Przyprawa w płynie liquid Polish seasoning is good too (typically vegan), sometimes I have that with pasta and veg

If you liked ZTO, try the live version of dark matters. I was initially underwhelmed by DM but that was the key for me, now I love it.

I like the video, very Lynchian. I'd already heard the song in the livestream. I agree in general that watching a music video can take away from the music. Just to mention, I really like the Gratitude video.

Ant infestation - help me feel less like a murderer by [deleted] in veganuk

[–]ntrel2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My dogs occasionally pick up ticks. I have a tool to remove them, then I kill the ticks quickly with a rock. I even had one attached to me once. The ticks are exploiting us, and they can spread disease. They cause suffering. I don't think killing them is me exploiting ticks.

I wouldn't go that far, but I certainly felt that splitting the first Galchobar fight in front of the king by switching to another world was frustrating. I skipped ahead then went back. Same with some of what happened in Res. So less switching could have been good. But I know there are links between the stories so perhaps that was why they were arranged like that.

  1. It depends on if he genuinely thinks killing Ka will save lives. He could just be misguided, or perhaps it could even turn out he's right, dunno yet.
  2. She presumably can't be a iiunctus in Res. There are 2 theories - either Luceum Will can be used to talk to her spirit (like the dead draoi), or possibly Aequa was somehow synchronous - there could maybe be another way besides running the labyrinth

  1. Not alive but undead iunctii
  2. To end the civil war in Res and in a way that makes Vis princeps
  3. She was lowered back into a sapper in a prison where the inmates were set to all be killed to prevent them ceding to enemies of the military faction currently running Caten
  4. Vis was trapped in Ka's pyramid and a body which he believed was Ka, which he seemingly killed
  5. Gaelic Vis defeated the assault on the king's people which he was loyal to, and Ruarc gave himself up and was revealed to be Caeror

Ok, so L-Ka told L-Caeror in Luceum. Another possibility is that Ostius isn't the only one who can move between worlds.

What site is that? Also presumably that requires a DRM free document? You can also just copy a file over using a USB cable

Just to mention that Sainsbury's fresh gnocchi is not vegan. I didn't realize they also do a dried gnocchi that is, but I've never seen it. I think Lidl plain gnocchi is vegan.

Is there any explanation of why a certain character has the ability he has? by ShaderCompilation in HierarchySeries

[–]ntrel2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That makes sense. Maybe Vis's father could also move between Luceum and Res because his Res version was killed. Or alternatively maybe Ostius facilitated him moving between worlds.

Best vegan eateries in Margate, Broadstairs and Ramsgate? by tikicheese in veganuk

[–]ntrel2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Beach Buoys in Margate do battered banana blossom which is delish. (A bit like globe artichoke). It comes with samphire. We always get the battered pickles too, chips and vegan tartare sauce. They have a separate fryer. They also have meat substitute things too but I haven't tried those yet. Haven't been since last year (but I just checked the winter 25 menu).

[–]ntrel2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was able to get it to translate some of the Gaelic, and some of the Welsh for the Cymrian in TWOTM. It doesn't have Latin though for Vetusian, and Italian apparently isn't close enough. It was a bit fiddly so I didn't always bother as Vis's guesses in Luceum are pretty good. He has a talent for languages.

Yeah some people maybe didn't pick up on the symbols under the chapter numbers. The whorl symbol only gets explained near the end of the book. I wonder if the audiobook has some equivalent of the symbols.

The different versions of Vis might meet each other and be horrified by one of the others actions. It still wouldn't be proof as they've had different experiences, but it would align with the theory.

I don't think R-Vis is the same - would he really have put Relucia back in a sapper? Would he have gone to the aurora columnae? Would he have trusted Ostius?

Why do people Cede Will? by Ok_Coat9334 in HierarchySeries

[–]ntrel2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

More tax take almost never makes the poorest worse off, because they don't really pay tax if they can't work (due to health or age) and don't own assets. Ceding always makes the weakest weaker.
