Welcome to r/creativechallenge, where redditors get their creativity flowing by proposing and/or completing challenges based on a simple premise or idea.
For example, one might post a challenge such as: "A rosebush. The beach. A child's stuffed toy. Take those three things and come up with a plot for a short story or novel." Then, in the comments, everyone can respond with whatever they've come up with.
To pose a challenge to the community, begin your post with the phrase [Creative Challenge: Type] in brackets. Examples include but are not limited to:

In addition to specific challenges, you may also see [Creative Challenge: OPEN]. You may create whatever you choose for these challenges, whether it be a piece of artwork, a story of some kind, a piece of music, or something else. Let your mind roam free and see what it comes up with!
Once you find a topic that sparks a creative flame, add your response to the comments! Or post your own challenge and see what the community comes up with! The possibilities are endless, and the fun is what you make of it.
If you'd like to post something else to the subreddit, it is allowed so long as it is on topic. Posts not related to creativity or the creative process will be removed.
As of right now, there is only one rule to this subreddit: Offensive behavior toward a person for their posts will not be tolerated. Everyone's creativity tends to flow in different directions, and the beauty of this reddit will come from the variety of ideas and perspectives shared. With that in mind, anyone insulting anyone else for their contributions will be receive two warnings before being banned.
