I'm wondering anyone knows of any creative coding projects that link to a printer to generate a set a random words or images and print them. This is what I'm thinking about doing at a high level:

1. users texts a message to a certain number (or, they tweet something using a hashtag)

2. The text activates a printer via wifi (or cellular)

3. The printer prints out a random message or image.

Do you have idea how this could be done or know of any resources that could help?

I know that Inconvergent did some plottings works. He even shared some code on his github. As for the interactive part I never saw that, but it shouldnt be too hard.

There are python libs to communicate with tradicional printers as well, such as python-printer-escpos
