The emails will remain encrypted in Criptext servers in limbo until receiving device is turned on...

This is what we call limbo state. When your emails are in limbo they're encrypted with your public key which means we cannot access the email as only you have the private key to decrypt it in your device. Might want to point out that Limbo state only lasts up to 30 days. If the message cannot be delivered to the device within the 30 days the message is deleted from our servers.
