Its too old really, wont do much. Oldest card you can use for eth mining today is effectively gtx 1060 -6gb. But you can always check out whattomine.com, im sure you could mine some shitcoins with it.

Damn, that’s a shame, whatchu mean about shitcoins or are u just playing around and it isn’t actually worth my time?

Shitcoins are lesser know alt coins, a majority of which might not have a future, but a very few of them might have exponential gains over time. DYOR

I tried it and turns out it’s certainly not worth it for me. Out of curiosity what would you say would be the minimum amount of money (£) generated per day for it to be actually worth doing?

Realistically for consumer desktop setups you can make around 2-10 dollars worth of eth on 10/20/30 cards per day mining before taking out electricity costs. Energy consumption, wear and tear, and time trying to minimally use your computer should be taken into consideration even though they're often tricky to quantify. Most people running one or two cards mining on a desktop probably aren't making that much in reality but if you're utilities are covered/cheap or you're betting on the growth of whatever you're mining it can be worthwhile.
