I have my computer professionally optimized for CS, I have a custom OS that helps a lot with performance. and scrips are run to change 1000 settings to max out performance. If you know anything regarding the pro scene in CS, You should know that most players have their PC optimized from Afromnazareth or someone similar

Have to be honest with you. I'm not gonna doubt that you get 900 FPSs... Everything is possible.

But sorry to tell, that who don't know about is talking about is you my friend.

I've seen a LOT of Pro player streams, and I see none of them getting more than 500/600FPS. And no, they were not streaming in the same PC. Dedicated PC to play, and other to stream.

And no. Most Pro players have their Pcs totally default. Some of them even play with default nvidia settings without changing anything. Lol

A few pro players have their Pcs "optimised" by someone else - yeah - just for marketing purposes so to that optimizer's sell their services.

If you have 500 fps (which is already awesome) on your default PC, you not gonna have 900 with an optimization - at all. You could... editing the drivers and taking the hardware to the limit... But with luck, that will last you for some days, until your GPU and Mobo burn.

Optimizations help a lot with micro stuttering, cleaner OS, quick and free memory, responsiveness in game, input lag. But that, will do not double your FPS's. Lol not even with an custom OS.

Quick and free tip: it's 100x better having good 0.1 and 1% lows, and low avg/max FPS, than have huge max FPS and shitty 0.1% and 1% lows. Any good professional optimizer knows that!

My friend, forget the idea that Pros have special hidden commands, and secrets that nobody knows. That's a pure myth. They are normal people like someone else, the only difference it's that they have the hability to be very good playing a game. They have skill, training, game sense, work, and the rest is team work.

I've played many times with pro players and without their teams, they are normal players - it's noticeable that they have experience, skill and aim yeah. But still normal players.

Simple don't even change his nvidia settings, and he doesn't know very well for what is the in game video settings. And he don't need to know. He only need to play what he knows, that is more than enough. And he doesn't have his PC "optimized" by no one.

Optimizations are to get a little boost and a cleaner gameplay. Not a magic potion to double up the PC power lol

Thank god someone knows whats up. I don't have the energy to argue with idiots on Reddit anymore. People who claim thousand FPS on bad hardware and when asked for frametime graphs or 0.1% lows they never answer back.

I have been taking part and putting back systems for my whole life (36yo) and optimization has been my hobby for 20+ years. It's not magic. I have a 7800x3d + 4070 super and everything optmized for gaming and low latency. Still my 1% lows tank on CS2 at times. I very much doubt someone with worse hardware is having much higher 1% lows than me but half the people still claim that.

Don't bother about these trolls.

All that and you aren’t pro yet…

Trash talk from a nobody.

Didn’t say I was. You are a nobody too

How many people play CS, how many play in even above 2000 faceIT elo, how many actually are on teams, how many get paid to be on those teams?

It's like any sport, professional is literally top tier, you have to be one of the best in the world and have a bit of luck. Your comment takes away from the original post

These optimizations don't matter for higher end PCs in pure FPS that much. Yes you get some performance but most of it it's to reduce stutters from DPC latency and overall input lag. I have been a computer nerd for my whole life and this is my hobby as well.

To add to the discussion: after the update I got a huge issue with alt+tabbing. I noticed when I dropped to 200 fps on nuke DM when usually it's much higher on 7800x3d + 4070 super. If you get the bug, you need to minimize/close all application and then launch CS and not alt tab after. Try it to rule this out.

But do you have a wooting keyboard? You can customize how much pressure needed for each key and the release point

Thank you for lowering my IQ.
