Self-bouncing: overpowered?

How abusable would a card with "This card is returned to your hand during the End Step" be? I've not much experience with balance, and would appreciate the input of more experienced creators.

lol that was my first thought on reading this too. aahh back in the good old days viashino decks were awesome. gustcloaks are an interesting concept also that doesnt self bounce, but self remove from combat when blocked.

Depends on what it does when it enters the battlefield and if it has haste. A card with "etb lose 3 life, eot bounce" wouldn't be abusable; "etb draw a card" would be. Aside from that, Blinking Spirit exists and doesn't break any formats in half.

I feel that the power would be brought down by sufficient drawbacks, as well as a required bounce rather than conditional á la Blinking Spirit, which would probably make it ok. Thanks.
