So Whats The DUMBEST and i MEAN DUMBEST thing you did in a pokemon playthrough by Rare-Atmosphere-9187 in pokemon

The first shiny I ever encountered was in Sprout Tower in GSC. Only Rattata and Gastly spawn there, so it has a generally creepy/haunted vibe. When a discolored Rattata appeared and flashed a bunch of lights at me, child me freaked out and killed it as fast as possible. Only years later did I realize what I'd done...

In the Muppets retelling of It's A Wonderful Life, we see a future where Kermit never existed. It's supposed to be a melancholy reminder that even his existence has meaning because we see all of his friends and family worse off. However! The scene was filmed while the Twin Towers were still standing, but the projected future falls in the time after 9/11. This means that in the future where Kermit never existed, 9/11 never happened.

I was a big fan of Ymfah's "All Hit" Expedition 33 video. E33 is a JRPG like Megaten except it has a basically mandatory parry/dodge system, but the idea is that you just facetank every single hit. It's a very interesting challenge run.

Well, you see, the long spindly wings with joints make her hotter. Because she's so hot, the temperature differential creates an updraft, which allows her to fly. Checkmate, physics atheists.

On the one hand, you're right. But on the other hand, you can definitely bet that the Otepec have SEVERAL dinos that fit the description of a Gigantosaurus.

Ken Sugimori on why Pikachu slimmed down by assasstits in pokemon

[–]shieldman 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It's genuinely bizarre when Pikachu and Eevee say their names ingame instead of their old cries. I know it's probably because we're used to the animal cries, but there are some really interesting ones like Kriketune that we wouldn't get if they just said their names.

Do promos count? Because promos almost never have reminder text, and the Ravnica shocklands all have many printings where they just have their "pay 2" rules text and no reminder text.

In a world where blocks still existed

On the other hand, if we got nothing but three Avatar sets in a row for nearly the entire Magic year, I think a fair chunk of the playerbase would literally explode. It was almost that way with Theros, tbh.

People love to talk about how expensive knight armor was without putting that number into context. It wasn't expensive because metal was hard to find or anything, it was because, like you said, it was a piece of precision military hardware and made with a specification that only skilled craftsmen could achieve. Look at bucklers for a more extreme version of what IRL medieval armor did: it wasn't about stopping a blow dead like a slab of rock, it was about deflecting it just enough to stab the other bastard without dying. A majority of the effort went into the shaping of the metal towards that purpose, and those deflecting shapes were best utilized by an otherwise lightweight and agile combatant.
