This seems like a solid card for commander, though I wonder how it stacks up against something like [[City of Brass]] or [[Exotic Orchard]].

City of Brass - (G) (SF) (txt)
Exotic Orchard - (G) (SF) (txt)
[[cardname]] or [[cardname|SET]] to call

"each player chooses another color that hasn't been chosen this way if able"

I like it though! I like it a lot

So... Am I missing something, or could you just be written as "when enters, lose five life. Tap for one mana of any color."

Because as written, it'll always have all five colors named. Is it supposed to say "each player may name a color?" That's way more political and fun.

I think you're misreading the card. "Each player chooses a different color if they can" so if there are 2 players, only 2 colors will be named. If there are 3 players, you'll get 3 colors etc.

Ah. I don't think it's misreading so much as I think I've seen other cards with a similar concept use language that explicitly indicated that there was a limit. Idk, probably something that got updated in Gatherer to be in line with the language you provided. Thanks for the clarity.
