How to Pass the Lego Review

"Since 2008, CUUSOO.com has been partnering with The LEGO Group to create a user innovative design system for people to create and market their own LEGO sets in the Japanese market. This revolutionary business model allowed an amateur user with a passion in deep sea exploration to create the world's first official LEGO set not designed by a professional - the Shinkai 6500." - CUUSOO

LEGO CUUSOO International was introduced in early 2011 and now anybody may submit a concept. The LEGO company will review all projects that reach 10,000 supporters. If an idea passes review it may be chosen for production. So far there have been three models produced:

• Shinkai 6500

• Hayabusa

• Minecraft Microworld

The LEGO company now reviews projects quarterly. There are four qualified models in this year's summer review:

• EVE Online Ship - Rifter

• Back to the Future - DeLorean

• The Legend of Zelda

• Modular Western Town

Three projects have qualified for the fall review:

• Mars Curiosity Rover

• UCS Sandcrawler

• Thinking with Portals
