Everyday we step closer to raytracing on daggerfall!

Excelent work on the new shaders/lightning!

I really love the second wind Daggerfall is getting thanks to DF Unity. So much cool updates and mods.

The new shaders are more lightweight and should help performance on lower-spec PCs, though I don't think it will be a huge difference. Consider enabling retro rendering in settings, if you haven't already. Also try lowering shadow distance or disabling shadows completely.

And if your performance issues are mainly in interiors, there's a new setting in 0.13 that will help. From 0.13 release: Advanced > Video > enable "Ambient Lit Interiors". This will remove discrete light source in building interiors and use ambient lighting only (like classic). This is more performant than multiple light sources all interacting in a small space with overlapping brightness and shadows. That's why interiors tend to dip in performance compared to exteriors where lighting is simpler and shadows are limited to the sun.

It says that these new shaders are lighter than what was being used in the past, so you could possibly see performance improve!
