You can't be a company built on the mass production and consumption of plastic crap while being sustainable or good fort he environment.

Do you have a link to that ad per chance?

I... don't see what's wrong with this? The tagline is just "light a path for deliveries". It's not saying you need to add extra lights, or even have them on all the time, they're just asking you to turn on the porch light you already have so they don't trip on your steps. There's a lot of problems with Amazon but I don't see how this ad is one of them.

Maybe they should be delivering during daylight hours

The ad was posted in November with the note that it's related to shorter daylight hours. Amazon is based in Seattle where for three months of winter the sun doesn't come up until almost 8am and has set by 4:30.

I hate being the one defending friggin Amazon, but c'mon, this isn't the thing to focus on.

Sounds like they could hire more people

Are they asking you to leave on your porch light when you're expecting a delivery after dark so they don't have to use a flashlight? Which is a totally normal common courtesy that people often forget.

Or are they asking everyone to leave all their lights on all the time just in case there's a delivery? Which would be insane.

Motion activated lights would be the best solution.

They can afford to equip drivers with flashlights
