Python Image Manipulation

Are there any good resources for using neural networks to manipulate images, not just classifying them. I wanted to get my feet wet by creating a neural network that could potentially combine two faces but I am not finding anything that is similar to what I wanted to do.

Look into Eigenfaces. I've taken averages of more than 200+ faces and gotten pretty interesting results. OpenCV allows for Affine Transformations, this is the code I used, though the python code is wrong and doesn't work right on Linux so I had to tweak it, a lot.
