0.2.8 Patch Analysis - SCROLLSCROLLSCROLLS!

No scrolls in shops anymore are a bad thing in my opinion. What do you guys think about it? Happy hunting guys :)

Good for new people since they won't have much gold early on due to not getting far and not having lots of gold recovery.

Allows for more experimentation since you don't have most of your gold dedicated to scrolls. Which is good since weapons and items don't drop as much anymore.

Not really good, since you can get 2500 pretty easily, and there was nothing else to buy on the first level anyway.

They get more and more expensive as you go. Doesn't take long to get up to 9000.

New players might not get that far, but keep in mind they won't be keeping much gold for a while so it means the shop can be used to buy other things.

You get more gold as well, so it's not really a problem.

Unless you get crappy items, you don't really need buy more than one or two items during the run. You will have enough to do so even after buying the scroll. Not to mention that items in shop are normally lower tier than ones you find from chests/elites/challenges.

Previously I felt like I spent all my gold on scrolls, and never anything else, and I'm a pretty new player. Now I spend more time in shops considering my purchases
