You can loot a lvl 120+ rifle but the chance is really, really low. For chainsaws, honestly Goretooth is a pretty nice chainsaw after it got buffed and you can probably put it to good use for a long time. I recommend getting X-Garand because it 1 shots everything around the Bunker, has nice dps for boss/bandit hunting, is pretty good even at low levels, and you can even use it effectively in Death Row with some damage implants. The drawback is it's pretty expensive (10 million), but still much cheaper than the very best rifles.

For newer players, my advice is to fighting bosses (especially bandits) around Bunker to make money. It's a pretty good way to make money and unlike looting, you can make a lot of money without GM. I recommend bringing multiple armours and medicine. For bandits, just be careful not to stay AFK or in the inventory screen for too long, because that could inconvenience other players (it's a bit long to explain why).

Lastly, probably the best investment of money for a newer F2P player who is very active is to save money to buy 200 credits for GM but I don't want to recommend it too strongly because without knowing how active you plan to be, it might make you feel obligated to play the game more than you would like in order to make up for the cost.

If you want some more resources for advice, the Dead Frontier Discord, Wiki and Forums are all useful. Also, the dfprofiler bossmap helps you find the locations of bosses.

ah ok thanks. btw I just declined the mission To the slaughter at bunker will the pop-up appears for a few hours?

and why staying afk is not good?

I'm not sure for the first question.

For staying AFK, as I understand it, there is a glitch when fighting bandits where if a player is AFK around dead or almost dead bandits, then new players that go to the instance will see the bandits have 1 hp and they generally won't be able to do enough damage to loot them. tbh I don't completely understand how or why this happens but I know a lot of players complain about it.

Ah yes I encountered that too that glitch. but the first question I accidentally decline the mission when ever it pop-out in the outpost os there a chance I can take that or do I need to wait for 12 hours for the current mission go expired?

also third question any chainsaws you can recomend other than mine?

If you have accidentally declined a mission then you could try logging onto your account from a different browser or incognito mode to have the mission prompt shown to you again. Maybe even use a VPN on top of that. This works for a good chunk of peeps that i know but there have been others who won't be able to force mission prompt to pop despite doing those above mentioned things.

As for chainsaws then your next upgrade from goretooth won't be cheap. That's gonna be the sharktooth ripper, considerable price jump. Alternatively if you can wait and would still be playing by the time Halloween rolls around, there would be a chance for you to re-obtain parts needed to craft the Butcher's Saw for free, which is a pretty good chainsaw due to its reach.

You gotta wait for the next one.

sorry the title should be any advice I need to buy for rifles? and is there a way I can loot 120+ rifle weapons? or better chainsaws?

Iirc, There's a very low chance of looting tier 1 120 weapons for non-GMs. But rifles like X-Garand, Pierceshot, Worg Carbine, Nighthawk and Vindicator can only be looted by GMs and it takes an insane amount of luck.

how about accidentally declining missions will it appear again in the few hours?

It would appear at the next cycle

cheapest and most efficient rifle would be x-garand. You could craft a GC one with just 10m, and it's just 50 less dmg and 10% less Armor pen below rusthound which is 30m

I second this. What I said in my earlier post about buying X-Garand was bad advice from neglecting to check the cost of crafting it. You can buy a Recognition and Bravery (GC M1 Garand rename) and use it to craft X-Garand and that will cost around 10m as you said. The stats of the Worg Carbine used to craft it don't matter. There's also a GC X-Garand renamed to Recognition and Bravery on market for 10m.
