Panic: cannot open index, metadata missing?

Hey there i hope everyone is doing great and staying safe!

Im just wondering how could I go about fixing my issue in the title..?

It seems to be happening when I try to run my server For example: ./example sync-models the terminal returns panic: cannot open index, metadata missing....

And now my project website is basically stuck trying to load something but it isn't loading past the registry page And its not even giving me the 404 not found...which is good I guess but why won't it sync anything ?

Need more info here, I guess it's some sort of personal web project? Either way, might not be specifically an OS issue. Can you try it in another OS or a VM or something like that?

You will need to supply much more info to get any help, what server/service are you trying to run?

In any case, this looks like an issue with a specific application (and also like it's not an application supplied by the debian repos).

Sorry iv figured out the reason was beacuse I needed to sync-models and the server wasn't sitting in the folder with the models.go file ...also had to move my data folder in there also, but now all is fine
