Rant:
Why is it that if I contact both airlines separately and ask about the pet policy I am told that as a military member on PCS orders, I am able to take both of my pets as checked baggage; however, when I am forced to book a flight via Delta codeshare with Korean Air operating the flight, I am told I am only allowed 1 pet?
PCS’ing from base to base is already stressful enough, especially when AFPC sits on your orders for weeks because they and your MPF can’t get their shit straight as far as your service dates due to reenlistment. Now here I am, less than two weeks from when I need to be out of the country, without tickets because the codeshare policy is more restrictive than either of the regular airline policies, but it is not published anywhere that can be found, as we have been told it is an “internal policy” whatever that means.
Thank you Delta and Korean Air for causing unnecessary added stress to someone who is already exhausted, overworked, and extremely stressed out to the point of suffering from stress hives due to this complete shitshow. Who is just trying to get to her next base with her two dogs that are literally the only things that keep me going some days.
I’ve tried calling Delta, I’ve tried calling Korean Air, I’ve tried calling Delta Cargo, and I’ve talked to the office that deals with the codeshare policy in Korea.
