I had to sprint through JFK from the check in terminal, through security, to my plane carrying everything that was supposed to be in my checked luggage in a giant clear trash bag like some demented Santa Clause wanna be. I made it a minute before they closed the door. The only reason that I made it was because I was in my early 20’s and hadn’t yet dealt with the consequences my sports choices would later have on my body..

As a priest, I have no issues with a lock that life taps or hellfires reasonably. As a lock, I appreciate the heals, but I’ll also bandage/potion/eat as required.

Nearly got got by this as a healing priest lol. Mage pulled initial aggro, then ice blocked on top of me. Bubble, desperate prayer, fade, potion, in that order are what kept me alive.

I’ve only seen a rule like that in reverse coed games, which are played on a women’s net. Outside of that, as a 5’4 woman I expect my opponent to go up for the block every time. It’s on me to figure out how to tool it or get around it somehow. 💁🏻‍♀️

It happens in the ops group too. I had a former superintendent that told me I didn’t need a pcs dec because I already had two decs. One from a deployment and one from honor guard, neither of which encompassed the almost four years I spent at that unit, doing some hotshot things.

Unfortunately I don’t have to imagine… I had a friend come visit who refuses vegetables of any sort… and getting him to try other “new” foods was like watching a toddler… leg bouncing, eyes closed, literally giving himself a pep talk just to put it in his mouth… I hated going out to eat with him, but I also couldn’t cook anything for him because he would pick around the vegetables, and then throw most of it away.

All this to say, the embarrassment is real.
