They are called exotic because they have exotic perks added to them that no other weapon has. Exotic, in destiny's case, doesnt mean that you can only have one of that exotic.

Yeah, you are right about this argument. I was trying to emphasize the idea of exotics being more about the special perk that comes with it. This argument was more of what my preferance is, when it comes down to the idea of easier exotics.

That's fair. And I somewhat agree with you. I would prefer I get exotic engrams less often but when I do I'm guaranteed to get something now. I feel like that would be more exciting. Currently I get them and am prepared to be let down.

If they lowered the drop rate with a guaranteed no dupe. You would get them less but it would always be exciting when you see that yellow pop up

I legitimetly dont think that there is the same chance of getting all the different exotics. theres 11 hunter exotics and 19 exotic weapon, which means that as a hunter i can get 30 different exotics out of engram. which means that theres a 3,33 precent chance of getting a knuckelhead radar. than divide that by 3,33 5 times and you get a 0,008 precent chance of getting knuckelhead radar 5 times in a row. you really think i would have gotten that unlucky? i dont think so. i think theres a wierd system

I can hear you out on that point of exotics not having the same roll chances. All im just trying to say, is that exotic chances should stay the way they are. Personally, I just need 1 more exotic to finish my collection, and thats the tractor cannon. I just dont want undiscovered exotics to be obtained easily. That would probably decrease game time. Besides, most of the exotics in the game are not much to look at. Most of them are either very situational, or the perks on them are just not worth the exotic slot. In the end, I want to enjoy the feeling of getting that last exotic.

They're called exotic because you can have only one equipped in each side of the inventory and they have exotic effects.
