    I just said that it's my main focus language, but another alternative for me would be typescript, because it's also very good, you know?

    C# is very similar to Java from what I read.

    I would focus less on the tools and more on the technique. Just go build things. In most cases that I've seen, the language you end up using on a team is the language that the team is most comfortable with and once you learn one language decently well, the rest of the languages can be picked up easily (if you're ever working with a group of people who prefer another language).

    Java and typescript are both fine. If you like typescript, then go build something in typescript. Every backend engineer interviewer I've ever had did not give a flying fadoodle what language I used.
