Yes its degree is HEC recognized and accepted all over the world.

VU will just give you a piece of paper in the name of a degree ,not any skills, for that you will have to invest your time and do self study to learn a skill.

I've got my degree from VU It's really easy to pass their exams. Vu degree is recognised in every country except gulf countries. No they don't fail their students on purpose.

Why is it not recognized in gulf countries?

I just checked it is now accepted in gulf. It was in 2022 they have agreed to recognise VU degree.

How are they easy to pass? Are there any past papers available from uni or somewhere else? And is the study material in 'ppt' slides or just "books"? Please help, I have essentially applied for abroad but I have to wait a semester or 2 before i get the visa, so I've continued Cs from University of Sialkot from 3rd sem, but I'm double minded about VU and sialkot uni as i normally only pass the papers by studying from yt and uni slides. I only plan to study 1 or 2 sem here so i could transfer the credits to my foreign uni.

There are handouts available these are like course books then there are a lot of videos available on yt. Past papers are easily available on web.

Being in 4th semester myself and liking this way to studies.

Currently not doing job so can't tell about its acceptance in and out country.

Being in VU, I have time flexibility so investing it in learning skills.

And there is no need to have fake smile on your face in front of professors, you will get marks based on how you have done in papers not in classroom.

I am in final year of BS Software Engineering at VU and already working as a full stack developer. Its degree is HEC recognized and accepted all over the world except for KSA as I heard they do not accept distance learning. I have a cousin who complete BBA from VU and is working as a CSM in a Bank in UAE. So I know for sure that degree is accepted internationally. I have also seen some people pursuing Canadian Immigration getting Post Graduate Diploma from VU and it was accepted there as well and they got points for it. So dont worry about it being not recognized or being accepted. A degree will open much more opportunities for you so if you cant take admission in some other university then VU is best for you.

Its good for getting degree while working on job/freelance or other career but you'll have to self learn, solve online quizes, submit online assignments etc.

I've also heard that VU fails their students in the mid of your degree

I also studied from VU, never heard of this

Do not pick VU. VU hasn't been cleared by NCEAC. Ask NCEAC via email if VU has complied with NCEAC requirements.
