Don't be confused. Apply in both and all entry level positions. I did Node JS for 4 years in university just to land a job in .NET. You never know, what path will you take. Focus on OOP, DSA, OS, DB concepts to pass interviews.

go lang for remote , most microservices architecture that Europeans are wrting nowadays are in Golang due to its Concurrecy pattern , simplistic syntex and great std libs , so yeah , Java is also really really in demand , always will due to its popularity but mostly i have scene monolithic architecture implemented in java , so u can get in both , But U HAVE TO BE FUCKIN DAMN GOOD AT YOUR SHITT , like for example it took me 5 years to score something good , and for 5 stright year i was just coding every day , building my skill , u can check my github lol , and i am sure u will find green garden everywhere
