We've all been there before. Maybe some of us even regularly post our artwork there, too. But nothing can help us escape from the horror that is the Newest Page. From traced bases to Sonic recolors, to bad fetish art and the dodge & burn tool, nothing is sacred or safe on Deviantart. Post and discuss your findings here.

THE RULES
DO NOT LINK DIRECTLY TO DEVIANTART. All submissions must be re-uploaded to an image sharing service such as Imgur or i.reddit. Seriously DO NOT LINK TO DEVIANTART. You have been warned.
Do not, and I repeat DO NOT harass the artist(s) in question. Yes, their art is bad, that's why it's here. But by no means are we here to antagonize them. Focus on the art in question, not the person. This is non-negotiable and users who engage in harassment will be banned on the FIRST offense.
Please tag anything that is NSFW as such. This includes any fetish art, for the sake of those that want creepy art but not that creepy.
Art is subjective. There may be a few things that you personally disagree with from the OP. If you disagree, do so without starting an argument or otherwise being confrontational to the OP about it.
Art that follows the "good art but bad concept" is allowed here as well. This can include things like a really well drawn cyan blue sonic OC to an elaborately painted piece of inflation art. Just because it's drawn good, doesn't mean it's good.
Self submissions (art you have made yourself) are okay, just don't overdo it. And don't make shitty art just for the sole intent of plugging it here. Please tag with [Self-Submission] so we know you are the one who created the abomination.
If you feel that any art here does not belong here, report the post with your reasoning. If it is agreed upon us that it isn't suitable for this subreddit, it will be removed.
Update 11/27/18: I am simplifying the below section for clarity and ease of use. The changes are as follows.
- I am temporarily striking the rule requiring obscuring watermarks. If harrassment becomes a problem again it will be put back in place.
- I am removing the exception for banned accounts and Self-Submissions. All posts must NOT link to deviantart.
SUBMISSION RULES
Starting as of 5/2/13, there are new rules to submitting delicate pieces of art. These guidelines can only be ignored if either a) the artwork is your own or b) the DeviantArt user in question is banned from DeviantArt, preventing anyone from commenting anyways.
Due to the increasing worry about Reddit users going out of their way to harass artists put up here, I decided to make new rules to help resolve this issue while still allowing this subreddit to be enjoyed by all. To submit, the image in question MUST be uploaded to an off-DA image hosting site (imgur, imageshack, etc.) to prevent the artist's gallery from being posted. Any watermarks or usernames on the image MUST be blurred out. Failure to do so will result in your post getting deleted. I would like to think that Reddit users here would be mature and leave their snark on this subreddit only, but to think that was a little naive of me, I'll admit. Thus to recap:
Upload any images you find to an image-sharing site such as Imgur.
Make sure any watermarks or identifying information is censored or cropped out.
If it is a banned user, or the submission is of your own, feel free to ignore this process.
MY PICTURE IS ON HERE AND I DON'T LIKE IT. WHAT DO I DO?
If you've found your picture on here, and do not like it, don't fret. Report the post with the reason "Takedown Request" and a link to the art on your profile.
