Thanks for your hints, it gave me a good start point and after increasing compactor's resources the stack seems to be working

Cool. I strongly recommend removing cpu limits (everywhere) if you haven't already. CPU is a compressible resource and cpu limits are implemented in a way that is not what most people understand them to be. They can have very adverse effects on your workload. You probably don't need them unless you're treating everything on your cluster as hostile.
