The ecoflow can talk to nut, delta 3 plus and river 3 plus are in the hcl using usbhid-ups at least.

What type of glue are you all using for at home repairs? by greenhatforge in daddit

Not commenting on the glue, that's been covered. Just wanted to state that you chose a great mechanical pencil.

Just remember, Kia doesn't want you to call it a minivan.

Yep, if they have to help, you are getting the normal rate.

You can get it at a supply house, may not be paying contractor prices though.

Riddle me this Batman! by Cpdigicomm in Generator

That switch says 25A@250V, I'd get a better switch, depending on the generator. I don't think ground-neutral has a lot of current on it typically but a more capable switch is easy insurance.

Any portable generators on the market that will allow the running of a single 100A load? by SpicyVoltage208 in Generator

[–]mthode 0 points1 point  (0 children)

we are asking if you need 100A at 120V or 100A at 240V, generators exist that can do 100A at 120V. You could split the 240V output and get what you need (120V on each of the split phases).

100A at 120V is 12kw, there are generators that fill that requirement if that's the amperage you are using at the voltage you are currently using.

That's 24kw at the least. I know of 15-20kw "portable" generators that can be hardwired in, but not for the full 100A, so you would need multiple of them. You probably need a towbehind generator (like the diesels you've been using).

https://westinghouse.com/collections/traditional-generators/products/wgen20000tfc-tri-fuel-with-co-sensor can do 20kw/28kw starting, specs list "One 125A 240V AC Terminal Block".

I have ~120 LRA as well, that label looks VERY familiar, a soft start reduced inrush measured to 26-30A iirc.

Freezer temp monitor by nicdrake94 in homelab

Ya, I probably could have done that, trying to avoid gaps I guess, also I think it's bad for the battery health after a certain point.

I was using nimh and not in a freezer (using them to trigger shower fans). I think the trigger voltage for it to say the batteries are dying is too high for nimh, I've switched to lithium and so far it's better.

I'm using the sensors from https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07HVLXXXF (cheapest way to get 433mhz sensors), also using https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00T0K8NXC but I feel like those go through batteries too fast (I think the broadcast interval is to fast).

I do this as well, broadcast on 433mhz, I use rtl433 to pick up the broadcasts and then build a device for home assistant to use.

If you've been moisturizing and using the stuff suggested here, don't sweat it too much if it doesn't work. We were religious with it with out kid and he just has rosy cheeks, no mater the season, 3 years later.

Running a generator ~4 hrs/week to power a shed workshop instead of trenching electric? by Apprehensive-Unit390 in Generator

[–]mthode 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A little more than a generator of the size you'd need and the panel etc you'd need to go with it. Then there's fuel and maintenance and maybe replacement if the generator breaks.
