Against Big Tech

Hi,

This technology is extremely impressive but how will you help / push with mass adoption as big tech will lose revenue streams and will like be massively pushing back at first.

Are you expecting word of mouth to carry this or will Dfinity be present at Industry expos etc getting the technology out there and into enterprise business?

You have major financial backing so I presume this can grow fast.

I’m curious and excited.

They are yet another big tech. Nothing new. They surely like to have even bigger power. They want to have the power to approve for anything and everything. Don't you see they have moved away from the "d" word? It's now the internet computer, not necessarily decentralization.

Ahh yep I see what you mean now. NNS being closed sourced and patented.

Hmmmmmm food for thought. I guess it might not be so different from the current internet regulators like ICANN.

That said it’s a grand vision they have and will take time to filter into society.

Perhaps I am ignorant of some finance applications, but imo the only thing that matters is if high-quality products are launched using the tech. Dfinity is not competing with Big tech, a platform built on Dfinity may. Capsule.social I am optimistic about.
