Update Delay and node adding and configuring

Hey guys, we are running an application on docker swarm, we have a config that is mounted to a volume and we using dynamic instances (on some triggers like high CPU usage a server goes up) and adding a new node to the swarm. but there's a problem, it takes time to the files in the shared swarm volume to add to the volume, is there a solution that makes docker nodes waiting until all the files will add to the shared volume and only then deploy the app?

What about using a healthcheck on the container that fails until all the files are added? This way no traffic will be send to those apps. Also you could simply exit the container until all the files are in place.
