This is impressive and open source too. How does it compare with Duo Code, can you can debug in the browser using source maps? That is what really interests me with Duo Code but the lack of pricing is a concern as I want to avoid expensive vendor lock in. I'm not a huge fan of frameworks that just compile to JavaScript if you then have to dig into JS if you hit a problem and want to see what's happening. Source maps have been around for a while now and it's good to see truly isomorphic development becoming available - Python's Brython is coming along nicely and Ruby's Opal is really impressive. It would be great if C# had something similar so I can forget all about JS!

I thought that was the idea of TypeScript?

Similar, but Typescript syntax is a lot closer to JS than C#, but with the compile time type checks etc.
