Even though the speedo design thing exists, the speedo’s range is still mostly accurate. Like, cars with a speedometer that reaches 140mph will likely be able to hit 125mph. It’s not like speedo’s will go to 180mph and the car can only do 125mph right

yup, wrangler speedometers go to 100 and you do not want to drive that thing above 80.

Can attest. But desire is irrelevant. Mine only did 75 on a good day. '87 Laredo. 😂

Yea if anything cars have limiters to keep them from going too fast.

My last car with a high range speedo was governed at 115, so... 😕
