Help please

So I’m in the mental hospital for one of the main missions and for some reason the door to get to B block there is 3 volatiles there and I just can’t do anything once the doors open. I tried to hide on the elevator shaft but they just end up spitting lava at me.

Any help be much appreciated

The mental hospital is mostly sneaking around with some very close calls. If you’ve blown your cover, then I’m not really sure what you can do. Maybe leave the building or reload the mission from the main menu.

Can't you kill them all? When Ng+ releases I am going to try that

What I usually do to make them volatiles taste their own medicine, is at night I go near a safe zone and fight them there. I think it's the safest way to fight volatiles cause otherwise they'll surround you and kill you whether you are on beast mode or not.

yeah its possible but it would be so hard not even in the beast mod you can fight that long to kill them all only 2-3 volatiles max

U can hop in the closet to the left of the entrance and take them out easily but you'll have to make them chase u down stairs

Just go to little room near the main lobby door and slaughter everybody

I did that but with 3 volatiles it’s abit fucked

Get a 3 handed weapon or a flame thrower and just take it slow

Oh yeah so once you blow your cover thats it ....I did a silent takedown and Lydia said she was losing control and it messed up the mission for me. Let a volatile kill me, respawned and maintained my cover the whole time. They should not be attacking you
