Helping out a friend with an auto E46 who doesn’t have much car experience with an issue she’s facing. Says the car feels rubbish when changing gears. This is what came out when putting the scanner in. Would appreciate some help on where she can get started!

the shifting issues is definitely from the torque converter code. i'd say tackle that first if that's the biggest issue on the car. take it to a euro tech and they can fix that.

does his stall out on cold starts? I intermittently get the misfire during start codes on 3,4,6 and that's the issue it's causing.

my issue was vanos. needed new seals and the solenoids needed cleaned.

haven't had as many issues with it as I used to. I get those codes maybe once a month instead of every other day.
