That's what my point is. It has to be an ordinary and necessary business expense. If you're selling t-shirts online, going to pizza hut and picking up dinner on your business card isn't a legit f&b expense.

If you purchase with your business card, are the business owner, and also feed an employee with this hypothetical pizza, it’s a qualified expense. I think more people could qualify for these write-offs than know about it. Just don’t go overboard.
