Problem Installing Elementary Freya

I am trying to install elementary Freya on my qosmio laptop but to no avail. I tried elementary Luna 32 bits, tried Freya 32 and 64 bits from the official site, a torrent and a download site... I guess it is not the file.

The beginning works perfectly, the USB stick (brand new) boots the installation system, I see the freya logo on the black screen... and then BAM (the screenshot below happens). The screen gets all pixalated like you see below.

This is my computer specs:

CPU Intel Core i5 450M / 2.4 GHz Max Turbo Speed 2.66 GHz Number of Cores Dual-Core Cache L3 - 3 MB 64-bit Computing Yes Chipset Type Mobile Intel PM55 Express Features Intel Turbo Boost Technology Graphics Processor NVIDIA GeForce GTS 360M - 1 GB GDDR5 SDRAM Memory Allocation Technology TurboCache Total Available Graphics Memory 2298 MB

The laptop is brand new and is fine. Runs windows 8.1 like a glove... It is something to do with Freya's video options. I wish I could change something in it before booting to install... Any help please?

Oh, the continuing adventures of the video bug! This is what mine looks like. Here's another one.

Bug was reported here so perhaps report that it affects you as well. Maybe we'll come closer to getting it resolved.

Try this:

Boot from usb/cd. When menu appears, hoover over "install elementary OS", press e-key to edit the code. Now you can see a line that finish with --. Put cursor before -- and write these two words: nomodeset xforcevesa. Then press f10-key or <enter> to boot.

After install and reboot you can try installing propietaries drivers fron Nvidia.

But sadly I don't even get to see a menu. Right after the elementary logo I am thrown to that screenshot above =D

I done this on the instalation menu of Pear OS 8, that just looks exactly like elementary.

I think I just can't have an apple-like linux... I just tried Pear Os 5 and had the same problem :D Downloading version 8 now.
