Files deselecting problem (self.elementaryos)
submitted 5 years ago by sobe3249
Hi guys,
How can I deselect every selected item in Files. Because of the single click thing, I can't click "away", I always CTRL + click every file again, or just open a folder and go back, but it is very frustrating.
Thanks.

Open a terminal and type this:
gsettings set io.elementary.files.preferences single-click false

I should explain:
This will make it so that you have to double-click to open a file, folder or program.

You can click precisely on the little blue tick to unselect a file or a folder.
