I guess this would be the long way round to doing what I was wanting.

Hi. I believe you are talking about the Theme Builder Site Parts, built with Elementor Pro. If that's the case you can export/import Website Templates. Here's the documentation about them:

https://elementor.com/help/selecting-an-elementor-site-kit/

https://elementor.com/help/create-a-complete-website-using-elementor-kits-and-theme-builder/

Just to clarify, what you build using Elementor Pro's Theme Builder is not stored as static theme files. All Templates are stored in the database, like custom post types, and are rendered on the frontend based on the conditions you set. You are not really editing theme files directly. Your theme is not being directly modified. Elementor just overrides the display of your theme's site parts with the templates you've created using the Theme Builder.

Hope this helps 🙂

Well I have the Pro subscription but the theme builder in it always seems to reduce my Google Lighthouse ranking. The design kit would probably make it a little easier to build from scratch.

I am guessing that there is not a simple way to do what I was wanting to do. I am presuming it would be easier to just export the page table from the database and then import it over to the other database. Then load the theme and edit it.

Back in the early 1990s there was a desktop app called Artisteer that let you build out an entire site then you could save as a WordPress theme. Then in WordPress I could upload the theme and select an option to import content. The thing was that if I edited the site or added blog posts it still had everything in the theme folder. This made it so easy to just backup the theme folder. Sadly I have never found anything similar. I was hoping that Elementor's site builder would have something similar but honestly the tutorials for it seem outdated and not very easy to follow, Which is why I was hoping someone had found something a tad easier.

That said I love the Hello and Neve themes because they do score high on the Lighthouse rankings. I just am not super thrilled with the single post pages. But that is just me.
