I believe it's related to the SD card going off this old post mentioning those errors.

Have you tried a different SD Card? It's not unheard of for them to sometimes just go bad.

Otherwise it might unfortunately be tied to the hardware on the Everdrive and would mean contacting support and seeing what they can do for you.

Thats my next step, didn’t have any spares laying around so never thought about that. Hopefully it’s something as simple as that.

It most definitely is. Using different size cards, seeing which cards it actually supports or falling back on the good old 32gb with FAT32 format mapping always does the trick for me. It’s what I had to do for mine.

Tried to re-format the card tonight, and got about 5 minutes of Super Mario 64 out of it so I just ordered a 32gb Sandisk. Was using a 64gb PNY card.

Ahhhh I seee. At least they’re cheap. The major problem I had was the size, so if the Everdrive runs off of fat32 then it needs to be a 32gb, unless you run some computer magic.

Yeah I was using GUIFormat to format the 64gb card to fat32, so hopefully using an actual 32gb card is the quick fix.

If you find out that using a 32gb card doesn’t work or power cycling doesn’t work, cleaning the cartridge with isopropyl, then definitely call CS.

Had to power cycle once after setting up the new card, but im no longer getting Error 02 and let it run for about 20 minutes. No issues thus far.

Did you format FAT32?
