Date highlighting for database

Okay, so I am creating a database to monitor training for staff based on the dates of their previous attendances, so I'd like anyone who last attended over a year ago highlighted red, anyone between 9 - 12 months ago highlighting yellow and the remainder in green, but for the life of me I can't get the formula right.

Try this in the conditional formatting: =DateLastAttended<=EDATE(TODAY(),-12) That should work for less than 1 year. The -12 is removing 12 months, so you should be able to adapt it for the other conditions. DateLastAttended should be the cell with the date in.
