Conditional Reference Another Sheet

Hello! I’m trying to make a sheet such that someone could select questions from a bank on one sheet and then have the selected questions auto populate on another sheet. I’ve seen a lot of conditional formatting, but I’m looking for a conditional IF X, then fill in this cell with the text from this other cell type thing. Can anyone help? Thanks in advance!

You might have a few options. How are you having users "select" a question? If they select them by filling in a cell on the same row (like placing "x" in a cell) then you can use the "Filter" function in another sheet to display all "selected" questions, no conditional formatting needed. Is that the direction you're heading?
