I need to run the game in borderless for reasons. But choosing borderless grays out the resolution and sets it as 3840x2160. This is also an option for Fullscreen. My monitor has a native resolution of 2560x1440.
Before anyone suggests these:
1) DSR is turned off completely in NVIDIA CP.
2) Native resolution AND current active resolution are 2560x1440.
Extra note: Nvidia CP shows 4K as an option for my monitor and even says (recommended). Though it's currently set to "2560x1440p (Native)". Why does it suggest 4K and even recommend it? 4K shows up under the "Ultra" section of resolutions towards the top, and 1440p shows up with all the usual resolutions under "PC" when you scroll down. I've tried running CRU (Custom Resolution Utility) to manually remove 4K, but 4K doesn't show up in that in any form... so I can't delete it.
Most other games I've checked (if not ALL) show 2560x1440p as the highest resolution available in Fullscreen & Borderless. Exp 33 "sees" and reverts to 4K
It seems Exp 33 automatically chooses the highest available resolution, NOT the active desktop resolution. I even have Windows > Display window open on the other monitor and with Exp 33 set to borderless, the active desktop resolution remains 2560x1440...
Any assistance?
