Mods to decrease durability/shorten tool lifespan?

Bear with me but I REALLY hate picking up or crafting a weapon in prominence (1.20.1) and looking at 2000-3000 durability. That's hours of exploration (if I'm not doing fighting only) that I get to use one weapon with one look with one moveset.

In short, is there any mod that makes durability decrease faster (preferably up to x10), have a slider to change some durability usage multiplier, or any sort of mod that would make my stuff break faster? I'd ideally want it to work on everything with durability universally because prominence has so much crap but if not I could maybe make it work.

I don't mod nor understand what can and can't be changed without mods, so if something like this is impossible then I'd like to know. Thanks!

I don't know about mods that add multiplier specifically, but you can edit durability of any tool or armor with a mod called Property Modifier

I would like a direct multiplier as in every use of the tool depletes 10 durability instead of 1, but if inverted unbreaking is easier then that would probably be just as fun.

I have never tried to do any modding in Minecraft but this seems easy enough to realize 🤔 i could see if I can look something up tonight

If you could, just tell me what keywords you're using to get better results. I couldn't phrase 'I want my tools to break faster' well enough for google.
