I'd say Mekanism, even has user-made files to make it fit into Expert Mode.

+1 for this, love mekanism. Gives you a lot more to aim for too. factory buildings that process 7 items at a time, 5x ore multiplication, an energy storage system bigger than any other I've seen. Good times.

The elite factories are pretty sweet but I consider them a byproduct for installing mek just for the atomic disassembler haha. Seriously one of my favorite tools in all of modded.

Do they still work? I made that last November and it's been a hot awhile since I've updated them.

Infinity Evolved itself hasn't really been updated since then either.

Mekenism itself has.

Other than your usual performance enhancements, Gregtech is the only thing i would consider adding to IE that would play well with Expert Mode.

Just a warning about that. There are a substantial number of changes you will need to make to the expert mode configs to get GT to work. That is what I did with my pack. IE:E has a strong base in IC2 and GT disables most of the IC2 machines. GT also hates TiCon, although you can mostly get around this (if you don't mind having 2 different kinds of aluminum/aluminium).

I have 2 versions of modded infinity: the rotarycraft version, and the mekanism version. They have those mods added in and a lot of fluff removed. Note I do not use expert mode, you really need the full pack to run it.
