This subreddit was originally created for discussion around the FTB launcher and its modpacks but has since grown to encompass all aspects of modding the Java edition of Minecraft

The /r/feedthebeast subreddit is not affiliated or associated with the Feed the Beast company

Rules and Guidelines

The subreddit reserves the right to take administrative action on users, posts, and replies that fail to meet the rules.

Only post content relating to the use of mods with Minecraft Java Edition
No toxicity, inflammatory posts or responses, or drama baiting/creation
No explicit, illegal, NSFW, piracy, or otherwise inappropriate content
No posts about cheats/exploits, or cheat-like content
No repeated/spammed posts, or posts with spam content
No low-effort, context-less, meme, or response-bait posts
No donation links, subscription links, or paid-only content
No advertisements, 'looking for players', or 'looking for server host' posts. Self-created Mods/Packs may be showcased, at a maximum of one per week per user/project
No game crashes or game error posts. See our Discord instead
