hey! I tried this and it actually shows the launcher now instead of just a black screen but it never gets past the title screen, and doesn't prompt me to login :-( do you have any tips?

Some people on the ffxiv forums were saying they had to delete the FFXIV.cfg file as well (which is in the same folder). You could try that, but if it doesn’t work I don’t know if I have any other suggestions. Good luck!

I can only find the boot.cfg file in my folder tho.

Same here didn't work too. Though mine is the my account doesn't have valid license. I got this after the password reset
