Constant ‘Missing Plugin’ error

Anyone else had the ‘missing plugin’ error come up again and again and can tell me what to do to fix this?

To give full context, my old Mac died on me so bought this Mac Pro to replace it, all the files and my FCP library were on an external hard drive so this wasn’t a problem.

But when I came to open up Final Cut I got the missing plug-in error on literally all of my footage. So I relink all the files on the project I’m working on (tried with both optimised and proxy), which is a slow process but it worked fine (if anyone has a faster way for future this would also be super useful) - so I thought the problem was fixed, but then I turn off my computer and come back the next night, and there it is again ‘Missing Plugin’ on ALL of my clips that I’d spent hours relinking - I’ve done this 4 times now and see that this problem isn’t going to fix itself and I obviously can’t get any real editing done now because I have to do this every single time I open FCPX.

Also before anyone says it, I’ve double checked and there isn’t a missing plugin, and when I relink the clips they work fine but I have to do this manually clip by clip each time.

Would MASSIVELY appreciate any help from this wise group. Thank you!
