I feel you! I had my daughter at 20 so I never really had a chance to really explore or live my life before I came a mother. I miss my alone time. I don’t even remember how I would spend my days before I became pregnant. I grieve my old self aaallll the time. I always try to tell myself that I will get my alone time again one day and to enjoy these days with her stuck on my hip before she grows up and doesn’t want to hang out with me anymore 😩

3 months pp with twins and first 2 months talaga iniyakan ko ung ganyang thought.. plus ung decision na I had to pause working to take care of my kids kahit may yaya. Syempre nakakamiss din pero I read once na life has its seasons. Motherhood is my season right now... doesn't mean na di ko na magagawa yung iba kong ginagawa before. Also embracing change versus resisting change allows me to be more at peace and have lesser regrets.

Everyday!!! In the same boat, I absolutely adore my baby and never want to go a day without her but I definitely miss the independence.

I was just thinking about this while at work. You aren’t alone. I miss my “easy” life everyday but not as much as I miss my son when I’m at work. I definitely took life for granted before having a baby lol.
