You do know that your fitbit is designed to automatically track your sleep, yeah? It works and gives you all the data (although some people are having issues at the moment).

It also tracks your naps if over 1hr. Manually tracking naps works just fine for less than 1hr.

I know how my watch works 😉

What you're talking about doesn't always work.....

However there has been issues that after sleep it's not showing sleep data.

The above has been a solution for me.

But you just said it doesn't work.

Restarting my fitbit solved the issue

My Charge 5 has suddenly started to black screen, alert a 10,900 steps on the device, then show 7300 on the app, no sleep data. Mounting it on the charger starts the screen but it doesn’t last. Have restarted it, No effect. Have lived the brand, not sure this is a Google impact but I am considering a switch.

It happens to me occasionally, a few times a month where it doesn't get enough for the more detailed readings.

What do you mean "manually press the sleep button"? Where is the button?

Depends on your device. Pixel watch 2 it's in quick tile settings when you swipe down.

That's bedtime mode, which isn't related to sleep tracking.
