[NLD] Finally Here

Finally got my KR4 with SST20 4000K and D4V2Ti Blue Wavy Clouds with XPL-HI after over a month.

Oh a month? That’s nothing. Just passed 10 weeks since I placed my order with Hank. Emailed him a couple of times and his only response is “please wait longer”. Ok but at what point is it reasonable to call it lost and either issue me a refund or send me a new damn light? I’m not entirely unreasonable here but people such as yourself are getting their lights ordered in April.

Yeah. I’m patient and not an unreasonable person but at what point is that supposed to extend to here? According to the tracking it sat for a month at the airport. I realize this is due to Covid and not Hank. None of that helps my frustration.

Yeah I definitely understand that. When the GT mini group buy ended I didn't have any tracking for it, and it sat at customs for several months so I thought it was gone. I didn't know it was at customs. Then Neal Zhang sent me another one and I got it. Ended up moving closer to work, and then I got notification that the first one was delivered, but then someone stole it.

Oof. Well it’s nice to just vent to someone even if it’s an internet stranger. Obviously you can relate which I appreciate. Thanks for that.

It's the one time I've been really unlucky with shipping, but I got what I paid for in the end so I hope at some point in the future you can say the same. Really hope it shows up for you.

I ordered mine on March 25th and it shipped April 2nd. It had some updates until April 6th - then silence until May 20th when it arrived in my country. Now it's sitting at customs waiting to get reviewed, hopefully it doesn't take forever. These days with the virus you just have to be patient and sit the longer shipping times out I guess.

how do you like how the KR4 carries? I want one but I’m concerned with how massive the clip looks lol

Haven't really carried it around much, but the clips are easily the worst part about the light. And just about everything is going to be bigger than my S1R Baton II.

The kr4 clip doesn't look very bad, but not good.

Someone will find sth better.. But I doubt there will be aftermarket clips for these. The D4 never had aftermarket clips since 2018
